Welcome

HP will have a solid presence around the GSM Association’s Mobile World Congress 2010, February 15–18 in Barcelona.

We all know that when it comes to getting down to business, nothing compares with face to face discussions. For this reason, the principal focus of HP’s program is quality time with customers, partners and members of the industry’s media and analyst communities.

To help manage busy schedules, we are welcoming meeting requests right now, so that these can be confirmed and placed in diaries, in advance of the event itself.

HP has secured exclusive use of a fabulous award-winning restaurant venue for its HP Club, where key HP program activities will take place.

Nothing new then? Business as usual?

Well, actually, no!

This year, the HP Club reaches new heights!

You told us that creating a secure, private environment to meet and do business – with a focus on deal-making and deal-closing – is what you want, and have come to expect from us in our HP Club venues.

To allow us to proactively plan and manage the experience and needs of all of our guests, the HP Club will be located outside The Fira Campus. Located a relaxed four minute drive away, the very chic El Xalet Restaurant has a spectacular setting with magnificent views across Barcelona city.

We have created a 'Departure Lounge' in the HP Booth in Hall 7, where a first class executive transfer shuttle service is dedicated to HP guests, connecting them to the HP Club from The Fira. The same service will operate for our guests from the VIP Area outside Hall 7. This service will be tightly managed to ensure that your schedules are kept firmly on track.

You told us that traditional product demonstrations are a thing of the past. The option to ask questions and have these answered by experts was top of your wish list.

The Experience zone will offer access to HP experts and cool solution overviews, spanning solutions for Service Delivery Infrastructure & Applications, RealTime BSS, NGOSS, Digital Media, Wireless Networking, Imaging and Printing, and cool notebooks, devices, and mobile device management software from HP Personal Systems Group.

An evening social program includes a Customer reception and dinner, where we are delighted that Tom Standage, Author and Business Affairs Editor at The Economist will share some of his thoughts and opinions with us and a Media reception and dinner for leading analysts and journalists from our industry.

Be sure and check out more about the HP Club. It’s a stunning venue offering an AMAZING vista!

Your local HP contact will happily coordinate your requests to join us in Barcelona.

We predict the best ever HP program in 2010, and to welcoming you to the HP Club!
